Here are some things fixed pre-launch for version 1.0!
New in 1.0:
- Game ending exists! - Many more typos, sprite errors, etc.
- All dialogue for the scene transition on the beach now appears on the pier side rather than the beach side.
- Credits work now! The game also loops properly!
- All final music is now in-game. Huge thank you to Putrid Shark: The Game: The Band for their hard work!
- Fixed another collision issue in the Train Station.
- Fixed quotations facing the right way.
- Bug fixed in which phase-ending dialogue triggered the dialogue menu after finishing.
- Flavor text added here and there.
- Bird/Wife quest- now when you finish the bird quest, it makes sure to finish the wife quest too, if you have that information to give the Lonely Woman. Eventually I'd like to structure it so that the wife quest exists separately from what phase of the game you're in, but that'll be a project for some other time.
- Made it so you can give back the misc. objects the kids give you at the end of the dialogue. As Neil pointed out, you since you can trigger that same dialogue again and again, you could theoretically earn an infinite amount of cigarette butts, doll shoes, and literal garbage from the kids by repeating that dialogue. Thanks for pointing this out, Neil, this definitely made me laugh the hardest of all the QA feedback I recieved.
